The Events

IP Comm Asia 2007, Taiwan 's first annual IP Comm exhibition, will be held on October 23~25, 2007 in Hall 1 of the Taiwan World Trade Center . The event is sponsored by Taiwan 's National Communications Commission (NCC) and organized by the Taipei Computer Association (TCA). The Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) has also agreed to serve as an advisor for IP Comm Asia 2007. Associate organizers include the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), Wireless City Industry Alliance, Institute for Information Industry (III), IP Phone Open Exchange (IPOX), SIP/Enum Forum Taiwan , and the ViTA Forum.

The goals of IP Comm Asia 2007 are to provide a platform for interaction and cooperation among IP regulators/operators and new IP Comm service providers, particularly in the Asia Pacific region; provide a high profile platform for the IP Comm and Video Comm industries; and provide one-stop shopping for innovative IP Comm related services and products. IP Comm Asia is expected to grow within 3 years to be the largest B2B exhibition if its kind in Asia .

Other events held simultaneously with IP Comm Asia include three forums: International Telecommunication Network Seminar (ITS) held at the Hyatt Hotel, Electromagnetic Wave Health Risks Seminar at the Taipei International Convention Center and organized by Taiwan Telecommunication Industry Development Association and the WiMAX Forum Member Conference held at the Hyatt Hotel, and two events: the WiMAX Plug Fest held in the Hyatt Hotel and WiMAX Showcase in the Taipei International Convention Center. Holding these events simultaneously is expected to attract a large number of international guests and experts.
